Parametric Optimization Solutions 'ParOS' is a high growth product development company founded in 2002 to commercially exploit optimization and control technology originally developed within Imperial College during the preceding 15 years.

ParOS provides energy-saving advanced control solutions to industry. ParOS was supported and incubated in its early phase by Imperial Innovations, the spinout and IP commercialization company of Imperial College.

The company's co-founders include Professor Stratos Pistikopoulos, currently Chief Technology Officer of ParOS, and Professor John Perkins, Vice President and Dean of Engineering and Physical Sciences at Manchester university, currently Senior Scientific Adviser to the company. ParOS is supported by strong management and product development teams combining significant industrial experience involving the commercialisation of high technology with world class research and development expertise.

The patented ParOS controller is significantly more cost efficient than existing technologies, delivering advanced control at a fraction of the cost with improved performance. A significant advantage of the ParOS controller is its size, as ParOS can miniaturise its controllers for embedding on semi-conductor devices.
